Administrative Guidelines
 

2412 - HOMEBOUND INSTRUCTION

 A.Whenever a principal finds that a student will be absent from school for health reasons, s/he should contact the County Educational Service Center to arrange for an IEP to be developed with the student's teachers and counselors.

 B.Teachers and/or guidance counselors should be contacted as soon as possible.

 C.All assignments are made through the office of principal.

 D.Accurate time sheets must be kept of all cases.

 E.Time sheets and vouchers are to be submitted by the end of the pay period.

 F.All books and supplies will be furnished by the school in which the student is registered.

 G.Instruction will be given only on days that school is in session. Each child will receive a minimum of one (1) hour of instruction per week.

 H.The instructor shall forward grades to the principal of the school the student attends by the end of the marking period.

 I.Licensed personnel giving bedside instruction shall be paid as approved annually by the Board.
