The Governing Board encourages each employee called for jury duty to serve unless excused by the appropriate judicial authority and as requested by the Director of Support Services at times of heavy workload.

The Board shall pay to each employee serving as a juror his/her regular salary while serving, for each working day of jury duty. The remuneration the employee is reimbursed for jury duty shall be immediately deposited with the Treasurer of the Board to be appropriately recorded. The employee receives the highest pay for the day served.
